En helg med Handsome Family

Denna helg liksom kommande vecka går i Handsome Familys tecken. Musikaliskt rör sig bandet mellan rustik country (med förledet alternativ) och mer folkliga tongångar i typisk amerikansk stil. Textmässigt följer de countryns tradition av historier om mänskliga öden. Det berättas ruskiga mordhistorier och om människor som befinner sig i gränslandet antingen mentalt eller ekonomiskt och/eller socialt utsatta. Det blir dock aldrig ett frossande i trivialt snaskiga detaljer utan såväl text som sång visar på ett engagemang och delaktighet.
